July - DIANA ROSS prepares a concert tour in selective areas in BONN, GERMANY and the U.S. states of CALIFORNIA, WASHINGTON and NEW YORK as well as the country of CANADA.

July 23 - DIANA began a new tour at WESTBURY, BOSTON and TORONTO. The tour was cancelled after these and DIANA entered into rehabilitation for a second time.

August 5 - DIANA'S sold-out concert tour was canceled due to alleged health-related issues. No specific reason was publicized at the time.

2003

"To Love Again" is re-released with additional tracks not on the original 1981 recording.

February 16 - DIANA was the featured subject of the E! TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY.

April 28 - DIANA entertained the guests at NEW YORK CITY'S METROPOLITAN MUSEUM of ART'S COSTUME INSTITUTE GALA. The benefit theme was GODDESS.

May 28 - DIANA was the special guest model for DENNIS BASSO'S ANNUAL FUR FASHION SHOW.

2004

January 13 - ARNE NAESS, former husband to DIANA and father of her two sons, died in a mountain climbing accident.

February 9 - DIANA pleads no contest to her DUI charges and receives a 10 day jail term with 8 days suspended.

March - MS. ROSS embarked on her THIS IS IT EUROPEAN TOUR which played to record crowds and outstanding reviews.

May - DIANA ROSS appears and is the cover story of ESSENCE MAGAZINE.

June 24 - DIANA ROSS performs a free concert in her hometown of GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT to benefit the TEEN CENTER.

June 25 - DIANA ROSS headlines at CAESAR'S ATLANTIC CITY to celebrate their 25TH ANNIVERSARY.

August - Gathering a lot of press, DIANA has been attending premieres, awards shows and gala parties.

January 20 - DIANA ROSS and JOHN DENSEY, GLOBAL PRESIDENT of MAC COSMETICS launched her new MAC BEAUTY ICON SERIES 2 COLLECTION at the MAC COSMETICS store in BEVERLY HILLS, CA.

April 20 - DIANA makes headlines at JOHN GALLIANO'S DIOR show in PARIS.

April 26 - GOLD. A CD compilation of SUPREMES songs.

June - DIANA began a mini-tour of select EUROPEAN cities to sold out audiences which included NICOSIA, CYPRUS - ROME, ITALY - BONN, GERMANY - VIENNA, AUSTRIA and others.

2006

June 20 - Official release date for BLUE, the unreleased CD featuring jazz songs from the LADY SINGS THE BLUES time-period. The CD was available for several weeks prior to the official release date as an exclusive at STARBUCKS COFFEE houses. BLUE reached the #2 position on the JAZZ CHARTS.

July 25 - It was announced in SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA that DIANA ROSS would be touring select venues in AUSTRALIA during NOVEMBER 2006.

August 29 - THE DEFINITIVE COLLECTION CD was released featuring 2 remastered selections from her solo work deemed to be "definitive."

October 2 - I LOVE YOU, the highly-anticipated CD distributed by EMI was released worldwide with the exception of NORTH AMERICA entering the UK charts at #60 without benefit of a single or promotion. The album was eventually released in North America in early 2007 under the MANHATTAN RECORDS label. The UK album contained the song CRAZY LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE. The NORTH AMERICAN album replaced this song with TAKE MY BREATH AWAY. A deluxe version of this CD includes a DVD with behind-the-scenes footage and a photo gallery.

November 20 - DIANA ROSS: A LIFETIME TO GET HERE is released. Author Tom Adrahtas writes a positive biography on the life and career of DIANA ROSS intertwined with essays from fans.

December 5 - DIANA ROSS AND THE SUPREMES: REFLECTIONS: THE DEFINITIVE PERFORMANCES 1964-1969. A DVD of various live performances.

2007

January 15 - LOVE IS IN OUR HEARTS: THE LOVE COLLECTION. A CD compilation of SUPREMES songs.

May - Author J. RANDY TARABORRELLI releases his third book on DIANA. This one is entitled DIANA ROSS: A BIOGRAPHY. His previous book was CALL HER MISS ROSS. Both were unauthorized biographies.

May 1 - DIANA'S classic movie MAHOGANY is finally released on DVD.

July 3 - FREE SOUL. A JAPANESE CD import of various SUPREMES and DIANA ROSS solo songs.

July 9 - DIANA ROSS AND THE SUPREMES: THE REMIXES. A JAPANESE import of various SUPREMES and DIANA ROSS songs remixed by various artists.

July 16 - Ten popular DIANA ROSS AND THE SUPREMES albums are released on CD as JAPANESE imports.

July 31 - CHRISTMAS IN VIENNA is released on DVD. DIANA performs CHRISTMAS songs with PLACIDO DOMINGO and JOSE CARRERAS accompanied by the VIENNA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA in VIENNA, AUSTRIA.

August - DIANA'S LAST TIME I SAW HIM album is re-released by MOTOWN. It was available exclusively through Hip-O-Select. The album is a 2 CD set. Disc one is the original songs from the album and the same songs again in the JAPANESE quad version. Disc two includes some songs that were recorded during this session, but were not included on the original album.

September - DIANA is chosen as a KENNEDY CENTER HONOREE along with STEVE MARTIN, BRIAN WILSON, MARTIN SCORCESE, and LEON FLEISHER. The ceremony took place in WASHINGTON, D.C. on DECEMBER 2. It aired DECEMBER 26 on television.

September 11 - THE SILVER COLLECTION. A CD compilation of SUPREMES songs.

October - DIANA prepares for the west coast leg of her I LOVE YOU TOUR. Cities included in NOVEMBER are SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA; SANTA ROSA, CALIFORNIA; OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA; SUN CITY WEST, ARIZONA; SANTA YNEZ, CALIFORNIA; RENO, NEVADA; HIGHLAND, CALIFORNIA; INDIO, CALIFORNIA and UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA.

October - DIANA is invited to a speaking engagement for THE BRILLIANT LECTURE SERIES at THE HOBBY CENTER in HOUSTON, TEXAS on FEBRUARY 12, 2008.

2008

Feb. 12 - DIANA does her first lecture/speaking engagement at THE HOBBY CENTER in HOUSTON, TEXAS for THE BRILLIANT LECTURE SERIES. It was an enjoyable evening of DIANA reminiscing on her life and fielding questions from the audience. Unfortunately, approximately 300 fans who purchased VIP tickets with promises of having their photo taken with DIANA were let down when that did not happen. DIANA stated that she was only to do a walk-through for the VIP ticket holders and did not know how she was expected to sit through 300 individual photo sittings. Some fans were refunded their money when they complained that MR. SCOTT BROGAN, founding director of THE BRILLIANT LECTURE SERIES, offered promises that he knew he could not fulfill.
